Condition Overview
This syndrome shows up very early in a dog's life and may manifest as complete lack of hair in areas with black coloration. It can occur in dogs of any breed and in mixed breed dogs.
Causes
This condition is seen most in Papillons and Bearded Collies, but is not common in either breed.
Diagnosis
Only the areas that would have black hair are affected.
Treatment
There is currently no treatment for this condition.
Prevention
There is currently no prevention for this condition.
